A side hustle turning into something bigger.
What started as a side hustle by a solo owner-operator in southeast Portland who genuinely loves animals was quickly growing into something that could replace a full-time career. They had built a small but loyal client base entirely through word of mouth and personal referrals. The demand was there. But they needed the systems in place to make sure it was running like a well-oiled machine.
The Challenge
No system, no visibility, no room to grow.
Everything was managed through personal texts and reminders set in their phone. Staying organized, managing existing clients, and tracking availability for incoming inquiries was all happening in one person's head.
There was no real system. Inquiries went unanswered for too long. Availability was impossible for potential clients to see. Growth was capped, not by demand, but by the lack of structure to handle it.

We built a simple, mobile-friendly booking experience where clients can request bookings, schedule meet-and-greets, and view real-time availability. No app downloads. No complicated dashboards. Just something that works on a phone and feels easy.
We also built a basic client management system to keep track of existing clients, their pets, notes, and booking history. All of the scattered texts and phone reminders got replaced with one simple place to see everything at a glance.
